Advertising; Will be allowed on the body, mast and bottom 1/3 of the sail in NALSA International Class 2

If none of these remaining classes register 15 yachts the classes will be divided up into starts of Òlike and similarÓ yachts. This decision will be made by the race committee at the soonest possible time. All wing mast yachts must enter their respective NALSA classes
NALSA International Class 2 specifications
The Chassis,
The yacht fully rigged with a pilot in the cockpit, must not fit between two vertical posts with a 3.65m (143 ¾Ó) gap between them. (i.e. outside to outside of rear wheels must be at least 12Õ)
Length of body,
Minimum length of the load bearing portion of body is 4.15m (163 ½Ó). This is the portion of the body that does not include the front springboard or other appendages and extensions.
Sail area,
The maximum total propulsive area, i.e. sail + mast + boom is, 11.3 sq. m. (121.5 sq. ft.) and a minimum of 8 sq. m. (86.1 sq. ft.)
The mast,
A fluorescent orange strip, 40 mm (1 5/8Ó) wide and minimum 2m (78 ¾Ó) long, is stuck on the leading edge of the mast (near the top).
Advertising,
Advertising is allowed anywhere on the body or mast, and only on the bottom 1/3 of the sail.
This advertising rule is on a trial basis in the US which extends through and includes the 2010 Americas Cup. This rule only applies to International Cl. 2, unless otherwise specified in the official NALSA race notice.
